Welcome to 2nd grade! 2nd graders are very busy throughout the year working on reading strategies, fluency, and writing skills in English Language Arts. It is very important to read daily with your child to meet these goals. In math, students will focus on place value skills to 1000, addition and subtraction strategies and problem solving. Please review their math homework nightly to reinforce skills at home.
