Recently, the 5th-grade teaching team and principal gave students a surprise they won’t soon forget. To introduce their next English Language Arts (ELA) lesson, the teachers performed The Search of the Mysterious Patriot, a story from their Open Court curriculum. This unexpected theatrical performance brought excitement and curiosity to 5th grader throughout the school.

 

Seeing their teachers in action left students eager to dive into their reading, ask questions, and explore the story’s themes.
